As a child, I appreciated art and knew I had a talent that I wanted to pursue. I felt a passion for art and knew that I had to share my passion with the rest of the world. As I began to experiment with art, I was inspired by various architectural buildings which usually contain different cultural meanings. This prompted me to pursue a career in architecture and I am now taking the first steps toward achieving that goal.
The architect offers professional design and construction related services of the buildings or any space around the building to be used for certain purposes. With the help of the Master of Architecture program, I hope to become an architect that greatly values the architectural designs as artistic creations. Moreover, the program will give me a better understanding of how culture is related to architectural designs. An understanding of this aspect of architecture will enable me to create modern designs that maintain while cultural image. My background in art will greatly complement the architectural knowledge that I hope to gain from this program. In the program, not only will I get a strong design concept but I will also be guided and will get an opportunity to polish skills and to learn new things. I will be able to get the experience and the diversity will further help in enhancing my intellectual exposure.
However, I know that simply painting an architectural structure is very different from creating an architectural structure. The idea of art is to convey the message in the most appropriate manner and to display the main objective of that piece of art and this is what I have learned while pursuing my first MFA degree in painting. Moreover, architecture is a language and is all about planning and organizing the various elements of structure in a way that accomplishes the purpose. There will be challenges and I am ready for each and every one of them. The program will also give me a broader understanding of how culture impacts architectural designs as well as how culture is being maintained or loss in modern architectural creations.
With the help of this program, I hope to become an architect that greatly values the architectural designs as artistic creations. I want to know how culture affects architectural works. Also, my background in art will greatly complement the architectural knowledge that I hope to gain from this program.

As education is a continuous process, I strongly believe that I will continue to learn new things even during my stint as an architectural researcher. Since the cultural aspect of architecture is what piques my interest, I would perform more research on this subject.
