A Strong Corporate Interior.

The space is a living area of a house. A lounge area is where guests are more likely to be the users since the features of the space are far too elegant to be used as an everyday living space. The space is actually specifically designed  at a Holiday Showhouse last November.

The designer of the space is James Rixner,  a fairly good interior designer based in New York. He is quite an experienced designer for he has worked previously with Blomingdales Interior Design Department and HLW Architects. His designs are classic and elegant without being over the top.

The designer of the space is a design firm called DESIGNLUSH headed and co-founded by Stephen Mitchell. If I am to describe the owner in one word, it would have to be  open  open because the designer appears to be open to any design. No idea is too weird for him to reject. His openness has led to some stunning designs.

This space is categorized under the modern style because of its minimalistic design. The space only contains  a couch, a center table, a lamp post, and a unique and truly modern lounge chair. It is also considered modern because of the few colors used black, white, and brown are the only colors seen. Another reason why it is identified as modern is because of the design of the pieces themselves. The couch and lamp post in particular are very modern in design. Ironically, the last reason is the inclusion of the wooden chair. Wood is not seen primarily as a modern material, but the design or integration of it into modern pieces makes the space modern.
